Now playing on the screen
Weekday lunch promo
- “Weekday lunch promo” beats “Lunch menu” — more specific target (screen beats group)
Things to try
- Scrub the time slider from 06:00 to 18:00 on a Wednesday and watch breakfast hand over to lunch, then to the screen-level promo between 12:00 and 14:00.
- Switch to Saturday at 13:00 — the promo only runs on weekdays, so the group-level lunch menu plays.
- Enable “Black Friday takeover” — its priority 8 beats everything else, all day.
- Set the promo’s target to Group — now it ties with the lunch menu on priority and target, so the more recently published one wins. Click Re-publish on either to flip it.
- Enable the fire evacuation notice — emergency overrides beat even priority 10.
- Untick everything — the screen falls back to its default content.
This is a simplified model: real schedules also have date ranges, minute-level times and per-item dayparts, but the resolution rules are identical.
