Widgets
Widgets are live, configurable content items. They update on the screen without anyone uploading new files. Add one from Media → New widget, then use it in a playlist or a layout zone like any other media.

Web page
- The site must allow being embedded. Pages that send
X-Frame-Options: DENYor a restrictiveframe-ancestorsCSP are opened in a full-screen browser view instead, which can’t be used in a layout zone. - Set a refresh interval for dashboards that don’t auto-update.
- Web pages require internet. If the screen is offline, the player shows the last cached snapshot.
Custom HTML5 widgets
Upload a .zip containing an index.html and its assets (max 200 MB). The widget runs in a sandboxed browser view and is cached for offline use.
The player passes useful context as URL query parameters:
| Parameter | Example |
|---|---|
screenId | scr_8f2k1x |
screenName | Lisbon – Checkout 2 |
group | Portugal stores |
width, height | 1920, 1080 |
tz | Europe/Lisbon |
Keep widgets lightweight: avoid heavy frameworks and continuous animations on low-power players, and don’t rely on localStorage persisting across reboots.
