Pair Your First Screen
Pairing links a physical player to your workspace. The player shows a 6-character pairing code; you type that code into the dashboard. No passwords or keys ever need to be entered on the screen itself.
Install Veyli Player
Install the player on your device. Quick pointers for the most common platforms:
Android
Install Veyli Player from Google Play, or sideload the APK from veyli.cloud/download . Full guide: Android.
Launch the player and note the code
On first launch, the player connects to Veyli and displays a large pairing code, for example K7F-2QX. The code refreshes every 15 minutes until the screen is paired.
Add the screen in the dashboard
In app.veyli.cloud , open Screens and click Add screen. Enter the code (dashes and case don’t matter).
Name it and choose a group
- Name — something you’ll recognise in a list of 200 screens, e.g.
Lisbon – Checkout 2. - Screen group — where the screen lives. A new workspace has a
Defaultgroup; you can create more later (Screen groups). - Timezone — defaults to the workspace timezone. Schedules run in the screen’s local time.
- Orientation — landscape or portrait (90° / 270°).
Done
Click Pair. Within a few seconds the player switches from the pairing code to the Veyli splash screen, and the screen appears as Online in the dashboard.
The pairing code isn’t showing? Make sure the device can reach *.veyli.cloud on HTTPS (port 443) and that its clock is correct. See Screen is offline.
Pairing counts against your plan’s screen limit. On the Free plan you can pair 2 screens; unpairing a screen frees its slot immediately.
