Scheduling

Scheduling decides what plays where, and when. Scheduling is available on the Starter plan and above; on Free, each screen plays its default content.

How a screen decides what to play

Every screen evaluates its schedules continuously, in its own local timezone, and plays the winner:

1. An active emergency override always wins.
2. Otherwise, the schedule entries whose day, time and date range match right now compete — see Priorities & conflicts.
3. If nothing matches, the screen plays its default content (the fallback playlist set on the screen or its group).

Players download the full schedule in advance, so all of this works offline too.
